About the Program

Admission Requirements: Dominion Herbal College Chartered Herbalist Diploma Program

Program Duration: The program duration is 12 months (600 hours). Enrollment is ongoing. Students can start at any time. Students have one year to submit a thesis.

Delivery & Instructional Methods: The Master Herbalist Diploma Program utilizes a distance learning delivery method in which the program is completed by self-directed learning.

Program Information: The program consists of a thesis with a minimum of 10,000 words. The student must submit a thesis proposal that includes the following: a) A thesis statement, a thesis purpose, and the herbal and physiological applications; and b) An outline, in point form, describing the research methodology and data collection method, what the data will cover, and some sources of information. A minimum of six months research is required. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be awarded a diploma with the title “Master Herbalist”.

This program does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training. PTIB did not review this program.
